Projects of Enerjisa Enerji, i.e., the “SENTRUM” project carried out with the support of United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and Sabancı University, and the “KOZALAK” project launched as part of Sabancı Republic Mobilization, were granted three awards at the Communitas Awards in the category of "Excellence in Corporate Social Responsibility”.

The power plant, which will be built with an investment of TL 52 million at the Afyon Factory of Çimsa, will generate 4.2 million kWh of electrical energy per annum. Thus, the facility will be supplying energy equivalent to the annual electricity consumption of 1,416 households from natural resources.

Eşarj was awarded the right to install 495 fast charging stations in 53 provinces as part of the "Fast Charging Stations for EVs Program", which was initiated to establish the charging infrastructure of electric vehicles in Turkey.

With 94 percent of its shares owned by Enerjisa Enerji, Eşarj will invest approximately TL 300 million in the station network. Thanks to new investments, Eşarj will have the largest and fastest EV charging station network in Turkey in terms of installed capacity.

Brisa and Enerjisa Enerji initiated a collaboration that will contribute to reduce the carbon footprint via consuming renewable energy. Developing solutions to increase the consumption of renewable energy with its sustainability- and savings-oriented products under the umbrella of Energy of My Business, Enerjisa Enerji installed more than 10,400 solar panels on the roof of the Brisa Aksaray Factory. Thanks to this collaboration, the facility will meet approximately one-fifth of its current energy requirement from the sun.

The solar energy power plant, which is the largest rooftop solar energy power plant investment in the Aksaray region, enabled Brisa and Enerjisa Enerji to take a significant step towards their Net Zero Emission goals for 2050. Whilst the generation capacity of the power plant is 6,226 MWh, which corresponds to the annual electricity requirement of approximately 2,075 households, the plant will also prevent the emission of 3,000 tons of CO2 per annum.

Developing solutions that enhance the consumption of renewable energy with efficiency and conservation-oriented products under the umbrella of Energy of My Business and attaching importance to the sustainability goals of its customers, Enerjisa Enerji signed an agreement with Sabancı Holding, Sabancı University and Teknosa to consume "Green Energy". Thanks to this partnership, in 2022, these three organisations will consume 25,425 MWh energy, which is equivalent to the annual electricity consumption of 8,475 households, from renewable energy resources and prevent a total of 14,110 tons of CO2 emissions.

SENTRUM project promotes green solutions and energy-efficient investments in Küçükköy

According to the 2021 results of the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP), the world's largest environmental reporting platform, Enerjisa Enerji raised its success score to level B in the Climate Change and Water Security programmes. The programme, in which companies have been announcing Carbon Disclosure since 2002, enables companies publicly commit to tackling climate change and transitioning to a low-carbon economy through renewable energy use, science-based targets, carbon pricing, etc.

Enerjisa Enerji has increased its shares in Eşarj, the first and fastest electric charging station network in Turkey, of which the majority of its shares were acquired by Enerjisa Enerji in 2018, to 94 percent. Increasing its share in Eşarj from 80 percent to 94 percent, Enerjisa Enerji took over the shares for 42.4 million TL. Operating with the goal of a sustainable future, Enerjisa Enerji will continue to manage Turkey's first and fastest charging station network.

Enerjisa Enerji signed a new loan agreement of 110 million USD equivalent in Turkish Lira with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) with 7 years tenor for its electricity grid and technology investments and operations with “inclusive and green” focus. The company will contribute to its goal for providing sustainable and high-quality energy to 21 million people with these investments.

Enerjisa Enerji, which creates solutions that increase the use of renewable energy under the umbrella of Energy of My Business with products focused on efficiency and savings, and Teknosa, the pioneering brand in technology retailing and e-commerce in Turkey, launch an energy-efficient lighting conversion. As part of the collaboration, the LED conversion has been implemented in the Teknosa store in Istanbul Canpark Shopping Mall, and 20 more stores will benefit from the conversion in 2022.

With the new bond issuance having the maturity of two years and TRREF indexed coupon payments, the bond of Enerjisa Enerji in circulation reached 1.7 billion TL in total.

8 fast electrical charging stations have been put into operation so far as part of the partnership of Eşarj, the first and fastest network of electrical charging stations with majority of shares owned by Enerjisa Enerji, and Brisa, the leading company in tyre sector which offers uninterrupted travel experiences to its customers. The number of charging stations commissioned at Otopratik stores, fast maintenance service chain of Brisa, is expected to be increased to 17 by the end of the year to completely support fast charging.

Despite the ongoing impacts of Covid-19 within local and global markets, Enerjisa Enerji’s grid investment increased by 95 percent yoy to 1 billion 110 million in 1H 2021. Consolidated Operational Earnings grew by 30 percent yoy to TL 3 billion 326 million in 1H21.

Enerjisa Enerji, the leading company in electricity distribution and retail sector in Turkey, increased its last year’s ranking of 34 to 30 in the strongest brands list prepared by Brand Finance, a global pioneering independent brand evaluation consultancy company. Achieving a 3.2% increase compared to the last year, Enerjisa Enerji’s brand score was defined to be A+ and its brand value was updated to be US$181 million. Eşarj, having the leading electric charging station network in Turkey, and CarrefourSA collaborated to build Eşarj stations in line with their sustainability goals. As part of the collaboration, charging stations were built to the parking areas of three CarrefourSA markets in Istanbul.
