While Eşarj was the first player in the EV charging station industry when founded in 2008, Eşarj reached 800 charging stations in more than 75 cities with approximately 600 high-speed (DC) charging stations. Having more than 1,400 plug-in slots and over 50 MWh installed capacity, Eşarj swiftly fulfills the increasing demand of charging stations as a result of the increasing sales of EVs of global brands as well as TOGG, the first domestic automobile brand of Türkiye.

According to the recent data we have acquired from EMRA, there is one DC charging slot for approximately 14 vehicles in Türkiye, which makes Türkiye hit the top across Europe in terms of DC charging slots per vehicle. That being said, there are over 60,000 EV parks, however the demand is increasing every day with the popularization of EV models of global brands as well as our domestic automobile TOGG. At Eşarj, we are managing 20 percent of the EV charging station network in Türkiye. Eşarj owns more than 100 DC plug-in slots of over 200 slots located at significant destinations and malls in Ankara. The newly established charging station area at the Armada Mall enabled us to create a hub that can serve up to 20 vehicles at once. As we take firm steps towards our goal of installing 1,000 stations by the end of 2023 in 81 cities with at least 1 high-speed station (DC), I would like to thank all my colleagues who put their efforts into this charging station area which is a significant milestone towards achieving our goal.”
