FAQ

The power plants are ready for operation in 6-8 months, including the proposal, contract, license process and installation phases.

The installation of solar power plants operates through Energy Performance Contracts (EPCs). Enerjisa meets the financing of the investment required for solar energy conversion or becomes a partner in the financing of the investment. Our customers pay some of their electricity savings to Enerjisa with monthly payments. These payments are calculated separately for each project and are determined in EPC.

If the information required for the feasibility study is shared completely, Enerjisa can submit an offer without the need for a field visit. However, for some projects a field visit is required.

Yes. The warranty periods offered by the manufacturers are reflected on the customer. The warranty periods of solar panels vary according to the brand, model and product type.

Yes, although solar power plants do not require frequent maintenance, periodic maintenance and cleaning increase their efficiency and durability. Enerjisa undertakes all maintenance of the system throughout the Energy Performance Contract.

Enerjisa undertakes service and maintenance costs without reflecting any additional cost on its customers during the contract period. After the contract expires, our customers can work with any company providing operation and maintenance services in the market.

Enerjisa covers all extra expenses that may occur after bilateral negotiation.

There is no need for a full-time technician in the field after installation. However, Enerjisa monitors the solar energy system it has installed remotely and constantly monitors its performance. In addition, Enerjisa technicians and maintenance teams visit the facility in case of malfunction as well as for periodic maintenance.

In the Energy Performance Contract model, our customers do not need to use bank loans or other financing instruments. Enerjisa undertakes all or a part of the investment cost of the project, depending on the customer's preference.

Licensed power plant legislation is more detailed and the installation process is longer. In addition, the right to install unlicensed electricity generation plants is possible only through tenders and competitions announced by the state in certain times. Enerjisa primarily recommends an licensed electricity generation option.

Enerjisa determines the capacity and power of the Solar Power Plant to be installed as a result of field work. The size of the roof or the land are also the factors that affect the electricity generation capacity.

During the field work phase, the production capacity is determined depending on the area to be installed, plant design, installation power and other factors.

If the building to be projected has a permanent electricity subscription, power plants can be installed in building that is under construction.

Yes, they can also be installed within ‘organised industrial zones’.

As part of the current legislation, if the energy generated is more than the energy consumed, sales can be made back to the network grid.

According to the current legislation, companies other than public institutions and organisations cannot sell the energy they produce in "Land Type Projects".

Enerjisa Energy Efficiency Projects are carried out as part of the ESCO model. ESCO refers to as “energy service companies”. Enerjisa inspects your plants in terms of energy, offers solutions, designs and implements with ESCO, or, in other words, with Energy Performance Contract (EPC) model. Enerjisa facilitates productivity practices of your company by providing completely or partially financing the investment. Enerjisa guarantees performance of your equipment which is renewed or made efficient with the EPC model. Thus, Enerjisa enables performance guaranteed saving. Enerjisa sets up a repayment model based on estimated saving under Energy Performance Contract Model (EPC) and gets repaid based on the saving achieved during the contract period; therefore, you achieve a cost-free energy efficiency conversion.

Yes. There is a guarantee for parts replaced by Enerjisa or equipment renewed as part of Energy Efficiency Projects. Duration and extent of guarantees vary according to the brand and model of equipment. Equipment such as boilers, chillers, electric motors have a minimum of 2-year guarantee.

Yes. Enerjisa prepares product and brand proposals for Energy Efficiency Projects. However, a different brand can be preferred, and provided that the brands offer the desired quality and performance standards, project can be carried out with the preferred brands and products.

Maximum period for the Enerjisa EPC contracts is 10 years. Following the field study, contract period is exclusively determined for each project.

First of all, you must fill out the information form prepared by Enerjisa. If criteria determined in information form are suitable for the Energy Efficiency Project, an Enerjisa specialist conducts a field study.

Yes. Enerjisa provides maintenance and consultancy services free of charge during the EPC contract period.

You must fill out the information form and provide all required information for Enerjisa teams to begin the study.

Yes. In Energy Efficiency Projects, Enerjisa primarily begins with a preliminary survey at plants and prepares a preliminary survey report. Afterwards, Enerjisa carries out project-based field survey/measurement works.

PGP is referred to as “Productivity Growth Project” and it is the grant support program that the Ministry of Energy provides for businesses. Grant support amount is determined as a maximum of 30% of the project amount. The grant is provided to projects of which the investment amount is maximum 5 million TL, excluding VAT. PGPs, of which the investment amount is specified as maximum 5,000,000 TL in the project, are supported with a maximum of 30%; i.e., maximum 1,500,000 TL as a grant.

Enerjisa provides PGP consultancy service and assist you during the application process through its partner companies. Prerequisite of obtaining PGP support is that your energy consumption must be higher than 500 TOE.

It is the sale of energy produced by consuming renewable energy resources and it is internationally recognized. There is no need for an energy conversion or energy investment to get Green Energy Certificate. The process is fast and efficient.

Enerjisa provides I-REC certificate to its customers. Also, Enerjisa provides consultancy services throughout the process, makes electricity consumption analysis and reports the process.

Green Energy Certificate does not require any physical implementation. Enerjisa prepares electricity consumption analysis, manages the process depending on the requested certificate (I-REC and Gold Standard) and finalizes the project rapidly.

No. Green Energy Certificates do not indicate directly obtaining energy from a renewable resource. The Green Energy Certificate program is buying the “green right” of energy produced by power plants that produce renewable energy. Certificates prove that all or a certain ratio of the energy consumed is obtained from renewable energy resources by an international certificate.

Enerjisa customers, if they particularly indicate, can select one or more resources among wind, solar, and hydroelectric resources for the certificate they would like to get.

To the extent that retrospective credit buying can be applied in the market, certification procedures can be obtained for previous or forthcoming periods. It is be possible to get certificates for past consumption.

Yes. Electric vehicles have less carbon footprint in terms of both CO2 and nitrous oxide, carbon monoxide. They also contribute to air quality in populous cities. Moreover, as electricity generation shifts towards cleaner generation technologies and renewable energy sources, the carbon footprint of an electrical vehicle improves.

Considering that a passenger car travels an average of 30-40 thousand km per year, the use of electric vehicles can save more than 10,000 TL per year in typical energy costs. When electric vehicles are charged at home, electricity costs less than the equivalent price of fuel. Electric vehicles can save up to 70-80% in fuel consumption.

No, all electric vehicles purchased come with a standard plug with which you can charge at a power outlet at home. Many electric vehicle owners also buy a domestic type Eşarj unit to charge their vehicles faster than a 230 V power outlet.

An AC (Alternating Current) charger supplies energy to a vehicle’s charger and thus charges the battery. Faster charging is possible via DC (Direct Current) technology. The DC fast charging station converts the AC supply of the grid circuit to direct current and DC technology directly powers the vehicle battery.

Fast chargers are built in 24-hour open areas such as road-side businesses, and gas stations. They are also frequently used in commercial areas such as shopping malls, restaurants, campuses and city parking areas. The number of DC charging stations in Turkey is increasing rapidly. The E-mobility sector continues to develop with faster, smarter, and more autonomous systems.

You can charge it at home, at work or in public places. In Turkey, there are about 600 public charging point in the cities and on motorways.

Most metropolitan cities have an extensive charging infrastructure. There are fast charging units especially on the highways connecting the western provinces of Turkey.

You can charge your vehicle by using your own charging cable at AC charging stations and by using the charging cables attached to units at DC charging stations.

When you decide to buy your vehicle, a technical team contacts you to determine which power unit your home is suitable for installation. In addition, electric vehicles come with a standard plug, suitable to charge using the outlets in your house.

The charging time of electric vehicles varies according to the battery capacity of the vehicle, AC and DC unit’s charging power and the power of the domestic type charging station.

The charging time of electric vehicles varies according to the battery capacity of the vehicle and its AC and DC charging power, and the power of the station you are connected to.
