Enerjisa Enerji Listed In The FTSE4GOOD Index For The Third Time In A Row

Placing sustainability at the core of its business strategy and developing projects to contribute to a smarter and greener world with a particular focus on human and technology, Enerjisa Enerji, the leading electricity distribution, retail, and customer solutions company in Türkiye, achieved to be listed in the FTSE4Good Index for the third time in a row. Fulfilling certain environmental, social and governance (ESG) criteria, including human rights, climate change and anti-corruption policies, and listed in the index, Enerjisa Enerji, demonstrated its success in its sustainability-oriented activities, rising to the 89th percentile in the distribution industry in this year's evaluation.

To be included in the FTSE4Good index series, designed by FTSE Russell, a global and prestigious index and data provider in the London Stock Exchange, companies have to fulfill certain environmental, social and governance (ESG), including human rights, climate change and anti-corruption policies. Companies are evaluated meticulously via a comprehensive and transparent methodology revised every year.

Included in the Index three years in a row with its strong performance

Leading the energy transformation in Türkiye, Enerjisa Enerji continues to conduct its activities by putting sustainability at the center of its business strategy with its vision of ‘A better future for all’. Enerjisa Enerji was included in FTSE4Good Index third time in a row with its transparent communication and performance in environmental responsibility, management practices and ethics and, once again, proved its determination in these fields. The company sustained its strong performance by maintaining last year’s score of 4 in FTSE4Good Index; hence, consolidated its leadership in sustainability in the energy industry.

Our Enerjisa Distribution Companies, i.e., Başkent EDAŞ, Ayedaş ve Toroslar EDAŞ, were included in the 89th percentile among all distribution companies in the industrial ranking.
