Hakan Timur Appointed as Chief Officer of Human Resources & Corporate Capabilities in Enerjisa.
Timur, who has been managing Enerjisa's human resources activities covering 9000 employees in 21 cities, since April 2016, has taken over the management of communications and business excellence units as well.
Hakan Timur manages internal and external communication management and business excellence activities, as well as organizational climate and culture development, change management and strategic human resources processes in Turkey's leading energy company Enerjisa, which is a partnership of Sabancı Holding and E.ON.
Hakan Timur, having worked as the Vice General Manager responsible for the management of human resources processes of Akçansa, a partner of Sabancı Holding-Heidelberg Cement JV between 2011-2016, had started his career at Marsa-Kraft Foods International in 1997. Afterwards, he worked as the Food Group Human Resources Manager, Sabancı Holding Human Resources Manager and Global Human Resources Director at Kordsa Global, respectively at Sabancı Group.
Timur, who participated in the development programs of Sabancı Holding "Talent Pool" between 1998-2000 and Sabanci Leadership Team (SALT) in 2009, took an active role within the NGOs and completed "Professional Coaching" training. Hakan Timur is a graduate of Istanbul University Economics Department (in English) and Sabancı University Energy and Technology Management Master Program. He is married and has 2 children.
