
Yakup Aydilek Appointed as Eşarj Managing Director
Yakup Aydilek is set to assume the position of Managing Director of Eşarj, a 100% subsidiary of Enerjisa Enerji, the leading electricity distribution, retail and customer solutions company, as of February 1, 2025, in addition to his role of Chief People & Culture Officer at Enerjisa.
In his new position, Yakup Aydilek will lead the journey of Eşarj in reaching its strategic goals and consolidating its pioneering position in the sector.
Taking up different positions at Enerjisa Enerji, the leading electricity distribution, retail and customer solutions company that pioneers the energy transformation in Türkiye, throughout his 15-year career, Yakup Aydilek has been serving as the Head of People & Culture since 2021, realizing the vision of compliance to the future of the business with its innovative and effective strategies that focus on people. As of February 1, 2025, Aydilek has been appointed as the General Manager of Eşarj, a 100% subsidiary of Enerjisa Enerji, in addition to his existing roles.
Graduated from Middle East Technical University’s Department of Business in 2005, Aydilek completed his master’s degree at Pantheon-Sorbonne University. Starting his professional career at Deloitte and taking up various financial and auditing positions, Aydilek joined Enerjisa Enerji family in 2010. He led many teams and functions in scope of retail business department throughout his career at Enerjisa by playing an active role in critical projects such as privatization processes, taking over electricity distribution regions and system transitions.
Yakup Aydilek also plays an active role in social responsibility projects in the business world. He leads digital transformation projects such as GYIAD (Association of Young Executives and Businesspeople) Board Member and Digital Working Group’s Co-chair. Moreover, he develops various projects to reintroduce women who took a break from business life into employment as the Chair of the Committee of Yeniden Biz Association.
With his innovative solutions and sustainability vision emphasized by his previous roles, Aydilek will carry the pioneering position of Eşarj in the sector as the first electric vehicle charging station operator in Türkiye. He is expected to lead both technology investments and customer-oriented solutions by taking strategic steps in the development of electric vehicle charging infrastructure in line with the e-mobility goals of Türkiye.
