Enerjisa Enerji saves energy and protects the environment via the ‘Energy of My Business’ practices
Enerjisa Enerji sustains its efforts to achieve efficiency and saving in energy consumption, as well as minimizing its carbon emissions via its practices carried out as part of ‘Energy of My Business’ Enerjisa Enerji will prevent the emission of over 68,000 tons of CO2 thanks to its renewable energy and efficiency projects launched in 2022 and to be put into operation in 2023. Expecting to supply 57.5 million kWh of renewable energy, equivalent to the annual electricity consumption of approximately 19,000 households, with its SPP projects, Enerjisa Enerji will achieve an annual energy conservation of over 55.5 million kWh with its energy efficiency practices.
Thanks to the new legislation, which allows businesses to establish a SPP or unlicensed renewable energy power plant not restricted with its distribution region, but nationwide, and to offset the energy related to their production facilities, Enerjisa Enerji will introduce sustainable energy to much more businesses.
The SPP and energy efficiency investments of Enerjisa Enerji under the umbrella of Energy of My Business, which were put into operation in 2022 and will continue to operate in 2023, will prevent over 68,000 tons of carbon emission. While 57.5 million kWh of renewable energy is produced annually in SPP projects, the annual energy conservation will reach 55.5 million kWh via the energy efficiency practices. Furthermore, 924 GWh of the electricity consumption of the businesses in the portfolio of Enerjisa Enerji will be certified as "Green Energy". This green transformation will prevent approximately 5.8 million tons of carbon emissions.
Enerjisa Enerji provides accessible and uninterrupted energy supply to organizations, as well as innovative, impact-oriented and sustainable products and services via Energy of My Business practices, which have been a role model in the industry since 2020. Installation of solar power plants (SPP), energy efficiency practices, green energy supply, Eşarj systems of clean energy, cogeneration, electricity tariffs and energy tracking solutions are among the services offered by Enerjisa Enerji.
19,000 households to be supplied energy by SPPs
Sustaining its operations in energy supply with the goal of a better future, Enerjisa Enerji promoted SPPs, which are renewable and efficient resources, to its customers throughout 2022 and launched many projects. Accordingly, installation works for 75,569 solar panels were initiated in 2022. Once they are all put into operation in 2023, 57.5 million kWh of electricity, equivalent to the electricity consumption of 19,171 households, is expected to be generated, while approximately 37,000 tons of carbon emissions is expected to be prevented.
The efficiency projects of Enerjisa Enerji, including LED conversion lighting efficiency, waste heat recovery, optimization of HVAC systems in facilities and buildings, enable businesses to save energy. Thus, the goal is to save 55.5 million kWh energy and to prevent approximately 31,000 tons of carbon emissions with the projects, which were put into operation in 2022 and will continue to operate in 2023.
Contributing to the sustainability goals of companies by reducing the carbon footprint and GHG emissions of its customers with its green energy certifications, Enerjisa Enerji supplied 924 GWh of electricity to its green energy customers from renewable energy resources; i.e., from natural resources such as sun, wind and water.
Besides all these operations, Enerjisa Enerji launched the first stage of the Center for Tourism Practices Based on Sustainable Energy (SENTRUM) Project in Küçükköy, Ayvalık in 2022 with the goal to support local economic development and encourage sustainable tourism. The project was supported with the Energy of My Business practices to enable energy efficiency, conservation and reduction of carbon emissions. The transformation achieved in Küçükköy led to energy conservation by avoiding annual consumption of 15,000 kg of coal and to prevent 55 tons of carbon emissions.
The Energy of My Business solutions will be guiding practices while clean energy technologies are gaining momentum.
