Eşarj triples the number of EV charging stations at Aytemiz filling stations

Eşarj, the first charging station company in Türkiye with the highest number of fast charging stations and of which Enerjisa Enerji owns 100 percent of its shares, increased the number of fast EV charging stations in Aytemiz filling stations, which was the first brand in the fuel industry to install EV charging stations in its filling stations in 2017, to 25.
The collaboration of Eşarj, the first company in Türkiye with the highest number of fast charging stations, and Aytemiz, the company that shapes its products and services in the fuel industry in line with the requirements of consumers and the market, gets stronger every day. Aytemiz, which sustains its operations considering the expectations of 100,000 new EVs to hit the roads next year with a 50 percent growth in the EV market, and Eşarj, a pioneering company with the title of ‘a company of firsts’ thanks to its consecutive investments and innovative practices in the industry, have accelerated EV charging station installations thanks to their business partnership since 2017.

Sustaining its business partnership with Eşarj at its filling stations, Aytemiz is also the first company that Eşarj built an EV charging station in a filling company in Türkiye. Increasing the number of Eşarj stations nationwide to 25, particularly in metropolitans where the number of EV drivers are increasing, in order to meet the requirements of over 70,000 EVs in Türkiye as of the end of 2023 and the rising trend of the market, Aytemiz has the goal to provide fast, high-quality, and uninterrupted service to EV drivers with Eşarj.

“Eşarj writes the transformation story of Türkiye in EV charging infrastructure.”

Senior executives of Aytemiz, Enerjisa Enerji and Eşarj got together at Aytemiz HQ. Stating that they have made investments for the development and transformation of Türkiye in e-mobility, Murat Pınar, CEO at Enerjisa Enerji and Chair at Eşarj, added: “We are building fast charging station networks throughout Türkiye. The goal was to have an EV charging station in all our regions and cities from Kars to Edirne and to provide service in 81 provinces. I am happy to announce that we will be achieving our goal of having 1000 stations in operation and at least one EV charging station in 81 provinces of Türkiye by the end of 2023. Embarking on this path, our collaboration with Aytemiz to build the first EV charging station located within a filling station was a milestone for Eşarj. We set an example in the industry, while also developing an innovative transformation story by placing an EV charging station, which is supplied energy from renewable resources, in a filling station. I would like to thank Aytemiz, which accompanies us in our investments on this path we have embarked with the dream of a better future for all, and sets an example in the industry with this valuable partnership, and all my colleagues who contributed to these efforts.”

“We are a pioneering company in the fuel industry”

Pointing out that the EV market is growing rapidly in Türkiye as well as the rest of the world, Ahmet Eke, Managing Director at Aytemiz, stated, “The number of EVs is increasing rapidly as well as the expectations of consumers. As a fuel brand focusing on customer satisfaction, we are the first company to respond to these expectations and a pioneering brand in this field. We installed the first EV charging station in 2017 in our stations, in collaboration with Eşarj. At Aytemiz, we are happy to be a leading company in taking steps to ensure a better future for all. Today, we are expanding this fruitful partnership even further. Together with Eşarj, we will increase our EV charging station investments to 60 stations in 40 provinces in 2024. Currently, we have 25 EV stations nationwide, 24 of which are high-speed, and we provide service with 59 sockets at these stations. We offer high-quality and uninterrupted service to our guests who charge their EV at our stations, with an additional price advantage of up to 10 percent compared to the industry average. Thus, we assert our claim in the EV ecosystem with our investments as well as our price advantage. We aim to further increase the number of EV charging points we offer to our customers in the upcoming period. I would like to thank the Eşarj brand, which collaborated with us in pioneering and breaking new ground in the sector.”
