Başkent Edaş Create Awareness on Energy Saving for Children
Başkent EDAŞ provided information about Energy Saving and Efficiency to Polatlı Sevim Aras Elementary School nursery class students.
Başkent EDAŞ organized an event to create awareness about energy saving and efficiency for the nursery class students of Sevim Aras Elementary School in Polatlı.
At an event organized at the Polatlı Operation Center of Başkent EDAŞ, in which the students of 5-6 years-old groups participated, a presentation about the rational and efficient use of energy resources and the importance of energy saving was made.
Children have been informed on the ways to use energy resources efficiently and consciously as well as the role and importance of energy in our lives.
In the workshop which was held following the training, materials were prepared with children to enable them encourage their friends and families as well on conscious energy consumption in their homes and daily lives. Little children made paintings and prepared small warning notes so that they can hang on the equipment working unnecessarily around them.
It is aimed to expand the education about the energy saving in order to create consciousness and to get them adopt the habit at early ages and to spread it through the Başkent EDAŞ service area in the coming period.
