6th World Forum On Energy Regulation

ENERJISA’S PIONEERING AND EXEMPLARY APPLICATIONS WERE SHARED IN 6th WORLD FORUM ON ENERGY REGULATION.

6th World Forum on Energy Regulation which is the leading conference in the world on Energy regulation, has started in 25th of May 2015, Monday. In the event which energy companies, specialists, academicians, politicians have participated along with all local stakeholders of public and private sector, senior representatives and energy regulators, short, medium and long term policies and visions regarding energy regulation for the upcoming period have been discussed.

About the conference Yetik K. MERT, CEO of Enerjisa which is one of the golden sponsors of the conference which has a very reputable place in World energy markets has said: “Having this great organization which is followed by the world energy markets in our country this year with the hosting of Energy Markets Regulatory Authority (EMRA) is invaluable in terms of telling the global sector players that how big is the potential of Turkish energy sector. As one of the leading players of the sector, we support WFER in which important topics concerning all the players in the sector are discussed such as energy access rights, improvement of investment environment, transparency of regulatory rules and regulations.

In the gala dinner organized on 26th of May 2015, EMRA Chairman Mustafa Yılmaz presented a Plaque of Gratitude to Enerjisa CEO Yetik Kadri MERT for the support provided for the conference by Enerjisa.

Kıvanç ZAİMLER, General Manager of the Distribution Companies of Enerjisa, which implemented pioneering and exemplary applications in electricity distribution in Turkey have participated in a session under the topic “Future Role of Distribution Companies” to share the experiences on this area. In his speech, Zaimler stated that basic requirements for the smart networks of electricity distribution sector in Turkey have been completed on a large scale such as SCADA, Remote Meter Reading System, Geographical Information Systems and also referred to the importance of integration of Turkey’s smart networks roadmap and communication infrastructure to the network and the steps that need to be taken in the following periods.

In the conference which will continue until 28th of May 2015, Enerjisa will be waiting for its visitors in its stand.
