Fitch Has Given Başkent EDAŞ an AA Rating for its National Long-Term Credit Score.
International credit rating agency Fitch has given Başkent EDAŞ an AA (tur) rating for its national long-term credit score.
The rating agency said in a statement that Başkent EDAŞ had performed better than expected in the current year seeing real returns of 11.91% with the introduction of new assets.
National long-term credit rating of Başkent EDAŞ, distribution company of Enerjisa, the biggest player in the Turkish electric distribution sector, has been evaluated. International credit rating agency Fitch has given Başkent EDAŞ an AA (tur) rating for its national long-term credit score and the company had its ratings outlook affirmed as 'stable'. According to the rating agency’s statement which especially highlights Enerjisa’s dynamic and robust organizational structure, Başkent EDAŞ’s stable operation, foreseeable cash flow and experienced stakeholders play no minor role in the awarding of the AA rating. The rating agency said in a statement that Başkent EDAŞ had performed better than expected in the current year seeing real returns of 11.91% with the introduction of new assets.
