A period of clean energy in healthcare begins with the collaboration of Enerjisa Enerji and MLP Care
The project covers the installation works and operations of 7 separate Solar Power Plant (SPP) projects in Çankırı, Yozgat, Sivas and Gaziantep provinces. Installed capacities of the SPPs will be approximately 75 MWp and they will supply more than 90 percent of the energy requirement of 27 hospitals operated under the brands of Medical Park and Liv Hospital by MLP Care, being operated in Türkiye.
As a novel project included to the renewable energy practices developed under the umbrella of Energy of My Business of Enerjisa Enerji, the project will also be one of the pioneering sustainability projects in the healthcare industry as MLP Care represents a significant capacity in the healthcare industry in Türkiye. YEO Teknoloji will also participate in the project as the solution partner regarding finding the lands, carrying out the permission processes, completing detailed engineering works and construction of the power plants.
To be carried out with the Energy Performance Model (ESCO), the project gathers significant actors in healthcare and energy industries. These three companies, with sustainability placed to the core of their businesses, support the renewable energy transformation in Türkiye, thus supporting the efforts to achieve the carbon zero goal with the activities they carry out.
An average of 112.401 GWh clean energy will be generated annually at these 7 SPPs to be built with a performance-based business model, and over 73,000 tons of carbon emissions will be prevented every year. Thanks to SPPs built at separate locations, the energy generation corresponding to the annual energy consumption of approximately 37,468 households will be provided in an environmentally friendly manner to create a better future for all.
All maintenance, repair, and operation activities of the plants to be built as part of the ‘Energy of My Business’ solutions of Enerjisa Enerji will be carried out by Enerjisa Enerji throughout the contract period of 7 years. SPPs are expected to be put into operation in 2024.
