Enerjisa Enerji supplies energy to Türkiye from the Sun
Thanks to solar power plant (SPP) projects implemented as part of the ‘Energy of My Business’ solutions, Enerjisa Enerji sustained its efforts to make great contributions in the 2035 Renewable Energy Road Map of Türkiye in 2024.
Reducing carbon footprints though eco-friendly business models implemented at public and private sector organizations, Enerjisa Enerji is leading its sector with its SPP projects that can provide energy for 86,000 households.
Reducing carbon footprints though eco-friendly business models implemented at public and private sector organizations, Enerjisa Enerji is leading its sector with its SPP projects that can provide energy for 86,000 households.
Enerjisa Enerji offers a wide range of end-to-end solutions for the benefit of public institutions and private companies, including solar energy, energy efficiency practices, wind energy and co-generation, via ‘Energy of My Business’ projects in which renewable energy and energy efficiency practices have been brought together since 2018.
Thanks to Enerjisa Enerji’s Energy Performance Contract (EPC) model, businesses are not obliged to find funds for their green transformations, they do not allocate human resources nor track performance. Enerjisa Enerji guarantees efficient operation of these projects by undertaking all permit and installation processes following the feasibility works conducted by professional teams, as well as continuing to provide all maintenance and repair works together with the performance tracking throughout contract term of these projects.
86,000 households supplied energy by the Sun
Enerjisa Enerji continues to be the leading energy company in Türkiye in Customer Solutions thanks to its experience and financing powers. Together with SPP projects, of which contracts were signed, installations were completed and were commissioned in 2024, Energy of My Business have reached a total of 102.4 MWp installed power since it was launched. This installed power corresponding to approximately 152,000 MWh per year is equal to the annual energy consumption of 86,000 households. Underlining the positive impacts of transition from fossil fuels to clean energy on human health and the planet, Enerjisa Enerji also prevents air pollution by 95,000 tons of carbon dioxide emissions per year.
The future of Türkiye in renewable energy
The largest contribution to carbon zero journey of Türkiye and the United Nations will come from renewable energy investments. Ranking the 7th in renewable energy in G20 countries, Türkiye accelerates its investments by 2030 in order to use its potential more efficiently.
Thanks to the investments of private sector actors such as Enerjisa Enerji which try to contribute to the goals of Türkiye, renewable energy’s share in total electricity generation was 25 percent in 2000 while it reaches almost 50 percent today.
“We will continue to be the driving force in the energy transformation in Türkiye”
Emphasizing the need to increase the competitive advantage in renewable energy as the first requirement of positive divergence which can be the solution for the current deficit problem of Türkiye, Murat Pınar, CEO at Enerjisa Enerji, stated, “Türkiye does not expand its renewable energy share in the total energy generation only with the motivation to find a solution for the climate crisis. Spending US$950 billion in the past 23 years for energy importation, Türkiye should resolve this problem to find a solution for its foreign trade deficit which reached 1.5 times of the total current deficit. How fortunate that Türkiye has clear commitments and goals in terms of renewable energy as they are confirmed at various international summits. After the announcement of renewable energy 2035 Road Map by our ministry, we started to discuss the investments in much clearer terms. Türkiye should commission at least 7,500-8,000 megawatts of installed power every year in order to quadruple today’s and have a total installed power of 120,000 megawatts.
If we can reverse all the negative factors that affect our competitive advantage with the advantage of using the solar and wind power granted by our geographical location, Türkiye can become a country which can clearly separate itself in a positive way. We will be able to use the opportunity of high-quality and sustainable growth through qualified employment and green growth.
At Enerjisa Enerji, we are aware of our responsibility and will continue to be the driving force behind the energy transformation in Türkiye. We will differentiate ourselves in terms of renewable energy investments as we do in grid infrastructure investments by accelerating Energy of My Business investments in 2025, and we will create sustainable environmental, economic and social benefits for ‘a better future for all.’ I would like to thank all our public and private sector customers whom we collaborated to support this transformation.”
