The ground mounted Solar Power Plant built by Enerjisa Enerji in Eyüpsultan to generate energy for 2,198 households

Pioneering the energy transformation in Türkiye by an impact-oriented sustainability approach, Enerjisa Enerji, the leading electricity distribution, retail, and customer solutions company, has been building and commissioning renewable energy projects under the umbrella of Energy of My Business since 2018. We joined forces with Eyüpsultan Municipality in this project for the standing-out SPP solution of Energy of My Business, which also includes products such as energy efficiency practices and green energy certification. The project will be one of the largest SPP investments owned by a municipality by an installed capacity of 5.6 MWp and is expected to generate 6,594 MWh of energy per year. Moreover, this project will enable preventing approximately 4,274 tons of carbon emissions in a year, thus, contributing to the protection of the environment.

Using 10,244 solar panels in this project, which will be one of the largest ground mounted SPP projects in Istanbul with its installed capacity, the projected energy generation will be equivalent to the annual consumption of 2,198 households. Thus, the project will also contribute to the sustainability goals of the Paris Climate Agreement that Türkiye ratified last year.

The launch ceremony of the ground mounted SPP project was attended by Mr. Abdullah Tancan, Deputy Minister of Energy and Natural Resources, Mr. Süleyman Soylu, Minister of Istanbul, Mr. Deniz Köken, Mayor of Eyüpsultan, and senior executives of Enerjisa Enerji.
