GENERAL QUESTIONS
What is YEKDEM unit price?
The concept, which refers to Renewable Energy Resources Support Mechanism, addresses the amount of cost/benefit of the incentive mechanisms of renewable energy power plants corresponding to the unit consumption.
Why is such an amendment put into effect?
We meticulously evaluated all factors in order to keep the fixed unit prices given in the Electricity Energy Sales Contract minimally affected by the global and national price fluctuations and not revised throughout the contract period. Thus, we were able to foresee the cost changes during our service period, thanks to our preliminary studies; and we honoured the provisions of the contract. However, the increase in energy costs, along with the unexpected amendment in the Regulation on the Renewable Energy Resources Support Mechanism had an adverse impact on our costs; hence, the amendment resulted in a change in our calculation method.
