I filed an objection for my bill. However, my electricity service has been shut off, why?
According to the Article 36 of Electricity Market Consumer Services Regulation, an objection for a bill does not nullify the obligation to pay. Therefore, you are required to pay the bill although object to it. If you do not pay, your electricity service will be shut off following a second payment notification and a shut off notice. In case your objection to your electricity bill that you have paid for results in your favour, the bill amount will be refunded as per Electricity Market Consumer Services Regulation.
