What is Wind Power?
Wind power is renewable energy generated by converting the kinetic energy of moving air into electrical energy through wind turbines. Wind power is a clean and environmentally friendly energy resource. This energy resource does not generate combustion, pollution, or waste, but helps tackling climate change by reducing dependence on fossil fuels.

How Do WPPs Work?
Wind turbines convert the kinetic energy of the wind into mechanical energy. Wind turbines rotate with the thrust of the wind. This rotational movement is transferred to a generator via a rotor and gearbox. The generator uses this mechanical energy to generate electricity. The size and capacity of wind turbines vary depending on the speed of the wind. As the wind speed increases, the amount of electricity generated by the turbine also increases.
WPPs are generally built in regions where the wind is strong, i.e., coastlines, mountainous areas, and open seas.
Building WPPs

Building WPPs requires technical know-how and experience of multiple processes. We, at Enerjisa, support our customers at all stages of building a WPP thanks to the business model we offer. Enerjisa carries out all these processes from the beginning to the end on your behalf and covers the initial investment cost.

1. Exploration
The site of the WPP is selected considering the wind potential of the region where the plant will be built on, the continuity of wind speed and direction, topographic features, transportation, and infrastructure facilities. Our expert teams at Enerjisa carry out the required field surveys to find suitable land. Our teams determine the generation capacity depending on the building site, the power plant design as well as other factors during the site survey.
2. Proposal
The WPP project is conducted by taking into account the type and number of wind turbines, foundations and towers, electricity transmission lines and transformer centers. We offer optimum solutions with our energy performance-oriented approach during the design phase of the project. We prepare detailed proposals for projects that have proper measurements and once the capacity factor is determined.

We, at Enerjisa, finance the investment required for energy conversion or become a partner in the financing of your investment depending on the request and conditions. We, your solution partner, get monthly payments throughout the contract period, over the amount determined by the Energy Performance Contract (EPC) signed. Thus, you will be relieved from the heavy burden of financing the initial investment and get the opportunity to shift your investments to other areas.
Enerjisa prepares a long-term repayment model as part of Energy Performance Contract Model (EPC) based on the anticipated savings and guarantees the performance of the replaced or rehabilitated equipment.
3. Construction
Following the proposal, we get all the permissions process together on your behalf and carry out the necessary procedures as part of the business model. Once the design stage and permission procedures are completed, we build your power plant, put the plant into operation and initiate the energy generation.
After building, we take on the responsibility of operation, control, maintenance and repair, making your WPP ready to operate with high performance in a short time.

What is EPC with Enerjisa? How Does It Work?
EPC is a contract based on energy savings to be achieved following project implementation. EPC predicts the amount you will save when you convert to wind power and draw up a repayment plan based on the performance of the system.
The contract signed based on the EPC model directly depends on the amount of energy saved, and thus, the performance. EPCs determine your monthly payments to Enerjisa depending on the performance of the WPP throughout the contract period. Our Company assumes responsibility for the operations throughout the contract period.
At Enerjisa, we determine whether or not your business is suitable for wind energy conversion. If everything is suitable and the required conditions are met, we develop a long-term payment model based on the savings projected as part of the EPS; and we guarantee the performance of the replaced or rehabilitated equipment.
With EPC, we provide the required financing for the investment of the wind energy conversion or become a partner in your investment financing. We perform the energy inspections in your facilities, offer solutions, design the project, offer a contract (EPC) compatible with this project and implement the project meticulously. In other words, we undertake the required technical and financial risks, and perform the operation and maintenance of the power plant free of charge.
The terms of payments we will get in return for our service are defined in the EPC. The goal is to adjust the payments to be less than the electricity savings achieved throughout the project. (EPCs are drawn for a minimum of 4-10 years depending on the project.) In other words, you will continue saving throughout the contract period.
