At the meeting of the Energy Market Regulatory Authority held on 27/10/2016, it was resolved to that the Regulation No. 5999-3 dated 30/12/2015, which was approved by the Board Decision and published in Official Gazette dated 31/12/2015 and numbered 29579, the second paragraph of Article 18 of the "Procedures and Principles for Tariff Implementation of Distribution License Holders and Legal Suppliers",(2) will be changed as "For the application of multi-time tariffs, the counter clocks shall be applied to consumers whose consumption is measured on counters which have not been updated according to the practice of continuous summer time, in the following manner:
Between the last Sunday of October and the last Sunday of March,
Day-time period: 07:00-18:00
Peak period: 18:00-23:00
Night period: 23:00-07:00
Between the last Sunday of March and the last Sunday of October,
Day-time period: 06:00-17:00
Peak period: 17:00-22:00
Night period: 22:00-06:00
For the consumers whose consumptions are measured over continious summert time updated counter clocks,
Day-time period: 06:00-17:00
Peak period: 17:00-22:00
Night period: 22:00-06:00
throught the year.
However, different multi-time tariffs for consumers, consumer groups, consumption levels or connection types may be applied with the approval of the Board where the counter infrastructure is suitable for efficient use of transmission and distribution grids. In case of applying different multi-time tariffs, one-time tariff will be applied to the consumers whose counters are not suitable for multi-time measurement.
It has been decided that these changes should be reported to the relevant consumers by the authorized supply companies.
