Eşarj and Trugo roaming partnership serves in 81 cities

Two leading operators in Türkiye, both operating in the largest and high-speed charging station network industry, Eşarj and Trugo have extended its roaming service, which was initially launched in Bursa and then in Ankara, to all 81 cities in Türkiye. This partnership facilitated customers of both brands using the high-speed charging station network, consisting of a total of 4,000 DC sockets, whenever they require, free of any commission charges.
Eşarj and Trugo, the foremost operators of EV charging networks in Türkiye, have initiated their roaming partnership, offering a brand-independent experience for EV drivers across 81 cities. The practice, which initially commenced in Bursa and subsequently expanded to Ankara, was made available to drivers across all 81 cities nationwide. As the partnership has expanded nationwide, drivers have begun to enjoy a comfortable charging experience at nearly 4,000 high-speed DC sockets in total at exclusive stations of both brands, by paying through the mobile application of their choice via a single membership. Thanks to the roaming partnership, drivers can now easily access joint use stations on the digital app of either brand, do not have to pay any commission, and can charge their vehicles without interruption. Thus, the partnership enables users of both brands to easily access twice as many DC high-speed charging stations.

“We offer an uninterrupted and comfortable experience to EV drivers”

According to the joint statement by Eşarj and Trugo, both brands underlined that they considered the roaming partnership in 81 cities a significant milestone, and continued:

“We have initiated a new partnership that will facilitate the EV charging experience across Türkiye. With this initiative, drivers will now be able to access many more high-speed charging locations in 81 cities free of any commission charges. We believe that this pioneering initiative towards making EVs a natural part of our everyday lives will not only make journeys of EV drivers more seamless, enjoyable, and safer, but will also contribute to our goal of sustainable transportation. We are convinced that this approach, which transforms competition into collaboration, will strengthen our vision of sustainable transportation by accelerating the expansion of EVs and elevating the customer experience to the highest level.”
