If I change the tariff, would my invoice amount decrease?
Electricity subscribers can benefit from two types of retail tariffs. These are national tariffs, i.e., “Single-Time Tariff” and “Multi-Time Tariff”, for which the unit prices are determined by EMRA.

Single-Time Tariff: It is the tariff in which your electricity consumption is calculated based on the same unit price at every hour of the day.

Multi-Time Tariff: It is the tariff that consists of related components and applies different prices for different time periods for the electrical energy consumed in different periods of time throughout the day.

For consumers, whose consumptions are measured from the meters that are updated according to the constant daylight-saving time practice throughout the year;

Daytime: 6.00 A.M. – 5.00 P.M.
Peak time: 5.00 P.M. – 10.00 P.M.
Night-time: 10.00 P.M. – 6.00 A.M.

For consumers, whose consumptions are measured from the meters that are not updated according to the constant daylight-saving time implementation in compliance with the multi-time tariff practice, between the last Sunday of October and the last Sunday of March;

Daytime: 7.00 A.M. – 6.00 P.M.
Peak time: 6.00 P.M. – 11.00 P.M.
Night-time: 11.00 P.M. – 7.00 A.M.

Between the last Sunday of March and the last Sunday of October;

Daytime: 6.00 A.M. – 5.00 P.M.
Peak time: 5.00 P.M. – 10.00 P.M.
Night-time: 10.00 P.M. – 6.00 A.M.

The unit prices applied in the Multi-Time Tariff vary according to the time period, so we recommend that you evaluate and decide according to your usage habits when choosing your tariff.
