Eşarj Reaches 1 Million Recharges

Eşarj, a subsidiary of Enerjisa Enerji, the leading electricity distribution, retail and customer solutions company in Turkey that pioneers the energy transformation in Turkey, is the first company with the highest number of fast charging stations nationwide and has been one of the pioneers in the sector since the day it was founded with the innovative solutions it offers for electric vehicle users and its wide service network which expands with fast charging stations in 81 provinces providing 1 million recharging experiences to its customers.

361,000 EVs will be in traffic in 2025.

Founded in 2008, Eşarj, the first EV charging station provider in Türkiye, exceeded 1,000 charging stations nationwide, over 850 charging stations of which are high-speed (DC). As electric vehicle models of global automotive brands and domestic automobile TOGG become increasingly popular, the need for electric vehicle charging stations also increases. According to the best estimation of Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EMRA), EV number which is around 100,000 today will reach 361,000 in 2025. Thus, charging socket number should also increase to 61,000 while Eşarj has become one of the companies which provided the most contribution in this transformation with its investments over 500 million TL only in the last 3 years.

Türkiye is Number 1 in Europe in number of stations per vehicle.

Offering recharging services with the electricity generated from renewable energy sources and providing clean energy from the source to the wheels, Eşarj provides services with nearly 2000 sockets and over 110 MW installed power capacity, pioneering in the sector by reaching 1 million recharges. Ranking 1st in Europe in the number of charging stations per vehicle, Türkiye advances with decided steps towards an environment-friendly transportation system and the citizens’ interest in electric vehicles is rapidly increasing.

Eşarj breaks new ground

Eşarj is the first charging operator in Türkiye that puts efforts into EVs to reach their full potential in reducing carbon emissions, while also the first charging operator certified with the renewable energy certificate (IREC, YEK-G), and the first DC charging station and the first charging operator contracted with the EV brands.
