CORPORATE STAKEHOLDER ENGAGEMENT PLAN
In 2019, as part of the Loan Agreement signed
with the European Bank for Reconstruction and
Development (EBRD), we developed our “Corporate
Stakeholder Engagement Plan” in line with the
related requirements of EBRD Performance
Requirement 10 (EBRD PR10): Disclosure
and Stakeholder Engagement. The Corporate
Stakeholder Engagement Plan provides a
framework that summarizes requirements and
implementation processes related to stakeholder
engagement, public consultation, stakeholder
identification and grievance mechanisms. The plan
was revised in 2020.
In 2020, as part of the same loan agreement,
a significant step was taken in terms of
Environmental and Social Sustainability and social
management practices covering the distribution
activities were initiated. We prepared “Customized
Stakeholder Engagement” and “Cultural Heritage
Management” plans for each distribution company,
along with a “Social Management and Monitoring”
plan. The Cultural Heritage Management Plan
identifies action plans for the protection of cultural
heritage in the operation and investment fields.
The purpose of the Social Management System is
to identify social impacts that may emerge from
new investments and ongoing electricity distribution
activities, as well as communities affected by the
project, to enable disclosure and engagement, to
take mitigating measures and to monitor activities.
