Multiple Time Tariff: This is the tariff in which your electricity consumption is calculated over 3 separate unit prices at the hour ranges of 06.00 AM-05.00 PM - 05.00 PM-10.00 PM - 10.00 PM-06.00 AM.
According to your usage habits, if you can shift your energy consumption to the day time and night time hour ranges in which unit prices are more economic, then the multiple time tariff would become more advantageous for you compared to the single time tariff.
